I posted a review of Die Hard last December only one day after another blogger I follow, who noted the fact in his comment. When I read his post, we had even mentioned three or four of the same little things. It looked quite a bit like I had ripped him off, even if he didn't say anything to that effect. Even though it was unintentional, I felt bad about it, so I'm probably a little too sensitive to it now. Thinking you were this other person, and seeing that the two of us were going to be covering similar territory "again", I wanted to give a heads up that if I posted on the same movie, it was unintentional.Chip Laryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00787403805554027107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6917634143872972680.post-18526578747455040942012-03-05T20:28:22.846-06:002012-03-05T20:28:22.846-06:00Chip, that sounds like a cool marathon. I'm watching movies I haven't seen before (I hope to sneak in a few more beyond the four listed), so I don't think there will be much crossover. I'm thinking you may have me confused with another blogger on the Die Hard posts, though. I enjoy those movies (especially 1 and 3), but I haven't written about them on my blog. Thanks!Danhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12351431577484530230noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6917634143872972680.post-11775039126647421522012-03-05T15:17:53.356-06:002012-03-05T15:17:53.356-06:00I was underwhlemed by this movie. I saw it on the recommendation of a co-worker who loved it, though.

On a separate note, my very next set of movies is planned to be "Fairytales for Adults". I didn't plan to do this film, or Legend, so maybe we won't have the crossover like we did at Christmas with competing Die Hard posts. At the least I plan to do The Princess Bride, Stardust, and Edward Scissorhands. I may have one or two others, but I haven't brainstormed beyond that.Chip Laryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00787403805554027107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6917634143872972680.post-835972653231398032012-03-05T12:28:08.138-06:002012-03-05T12:28:08.138-06:00I agree. It has its fun moments and the visuals are creative, but there's something missing that keeps it from matching some of Gilliam's other movies.Danhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12351431577484530230noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6917634143872972680.post-25684937085728862992012-03-05T09:33:59.475-06:002012-03-05T09:33:59.475-06:00I seem to remember enjoying bits and pieces of thi...I seem to remember enjoying bits and pieces of this but feeling overall that it wasn't as fun or as effective as other Gilliam films.Danhttp://www.top10films.co.uknoreply@blogger.com
