I've also barely dodged a few even recently and nearly been spoiled. I dropped cable last year, so I've had to come to terms with that as I catch up on DVD with shows.Reel Whorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16653916483973674603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6917634143872972680.post-8590138084833304802014-07-10T21:17:12.910-05:002014-07-10T21:17:12.910-05:00I didn't think it would happen so fast, but Br...I didn't think it would happen so fast, but Brom just felt like a guy who wouldn't last long. Molly Parker is a pretty big actress, relatively speaking, so it wouldn't be a surprise if she stayed a while.

I love Powers Boothe, but the arrival of Bella Union so early was a surprise. Plus, they have Ricky Jay! I'm curious how they'll end up battling with Swearengen. This show does not waste any time. I mean, it was clear he wouldn't last long in Deadwood, but I was shocked that he only made it through three episodes. It will be interesting to see how long his wife sticks around.

2) Swearengen already has new competition. I'm sure this is going to make for an awesome storyline, but I figured he would rule the roost for most of the first season at least. Can't wait to see how this plays out, especially since the saloons have a couple of the same guys working for both sides.Eric @ The Warning Signhttp://www.thewarningsign.net/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6917634143872972680.post-87596463274372093642014-07-02T19:46:08.330-05:002014-07-02T19:46:08.330-05:00Thanks. It's a rare case where I know so little about a show that's gotten such acclaim. It is one of my favorite shows of all time (as is Justified). As you point out, it has rich characters and deep-running plots. I don't want to say much more because I'd hate to spoil anything. I still quote Swearengen and Bullock on occasion. Two great men, with inarguably different methodologies. Reel Whorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16653916483973674603noreply@blogger.com
